Bob Van Akkeren ~ President

A Sheboygan, Wisconsin, native, Bob founded Lake Effect Records in 2003. In 2006, he created its sister, Songs of Lake Effect Publishing - an independent publisher with offices in Colorado and Nashville.

Bob resides in Boulder, Colorado, as well as in Sheboygan with his wife Paula, and children Clint and Kaila. He's a fervent supporter of many charitable organizations, is a member of the Sheboygan Elks Lodge #299 and is a proud Green Bay Packers season ticket holder. If anyone claims to be a bigger Jerry Jeff Walker fan, they're lying.

Chris is also a native of Bratwurst City, USA, as well as a Brother Elk. He lives in Nashville, TN, and is inexplicably fluent in the plotlines of the TV show "Dallas."
